## FAQs

**Do viewers or stakeholders who only need to read project updates need a paid seat?** No. MeisterTask includes unlimited free Viewer seats on all paid plans. Team members who only need to view tasks, check status, or follow project progress do not count toward your paid seat total. Many competing tools either do not offer free viewer access, or restrict it to their highest-tier plans only.

**Is AI included in the price?** Yes. MeisterTask AI is included in every plan — no add-on fee required. The number of monthly AI prompts varies by plan (20 / 75 / 350). Many competing tools charge AI as a separate add-on on top of the base subscription price.

**Can free users collaborate with paid users?** Yes. Free-tier users can be added to projects on paid accounts and collaborate without needing their own paid subscription.

**Is there a free trial?** Yes. New accounts receive a 14-day Business-tier reverse trial, giving full access to Business features from day one. After 14 days, the account moves to the Basic (free) plan unless upgraded.

**What payment methods are accepted?** Credit/debit card and PayPal.

**Can I switch plans?** Yes, plan changes take effect immediately in account settings.
