We've changed how we "fetch" project data, making it quicker for projects to load. The difference is especially noticeable on projects with large amounts of tasks.

Now it's a lot easier to start a new project. Users can choose between a blank project or a template when they want to create a new project. Five templates have been launched for Business, Personal, and Educational purposes: Kanban, Meeting Agenda, Project Mangement, Lesson Planning, and Task Planner.
From now on, team admins on the Business Plan have a better overview of their team's project data. They have the possibility to view the data of all projects in the 'Project' section under 'Preferences', including private projects. Furthermore, they can export project data as CSV and bulk archive or delete projects. If the admins are not members of a particular project, they will only be able to see information such as: Project name, status and who created it.
The Tasks dialog magically became a lot wider overnight. This means that in the future it will be easier and clearer for users to add the most important information to a task. This provides more overview of relevant project information.
From now on, Team Admins can add external project members to their team directly via the 'Access' tab. When a certain number of external colleagues in a project is reached, security emails are sent to Team Admins to ensure data security.
A Team Admin invites users to a project and if there are users who are eligible to be added to the team, the team admin then has the option to invite those users to the team. A warning pops up when the available licenses are used up. The number of licenses can directly be extended in MeisterTask.
Whenever a user invites members to a project, the Project Invite is followed by the Team Invite. This happens when the system detects that those users could also be part of the Team. The prerequisites are that those users are eligible to be added as members and that the Inviter has the rights to add members to the Team.
From now on it will be even easier for users to join team projects. Via the sidebar, the projects can be joined by clicking on the '+' sign.
Business teams can now decide whether projects that are created are automatically visible to the entire team or if they are private and project members have to get invited. Team admins can do this by clicking on their avatar and 'Accounts' -> 'My Team' -> 'Settings' -> 'Permissions' -> `MeisterTask Restrictions'.
With Basic Teams it is now also possible for Basic users in MeisterTask to form a team and work together on projects.
From now on, users can see their available team projects in the sidebar under 'Other projects' and they can also search for these projects using the integrated search function. All projects users have already joined, can be found under 'My projects'. Private projects that differ from team projects are marked with an icon.
From now on, team projects are visible for Pro users and accessible for the whole team. In addition, there is also the possibility to create private projects, to which users have to get invited.
From now on, Basic users can test the MeisterTask Business version for 30 days free of charge. The trial version can be started via Upgrade Naggers at Business functions.
From now on, it is possible for Team Admins to see at a glance which external persons have access to Team's projects but are not part of the Team. Just head to the Preferences area in MeisterTask to take a look!

From now on we have brand new Slack Integration available for all our users on Pro plan and above. Get MeisterTask notifications as well as your own Daily Task Summary directly in Slack. Set up automated project notifications to selected channels to help you and your team stay on top of things at all times. Also create tasks and comment on existing tasks without ever leaving Slack.
Aprender másThe update allows celebrating with MeisterTask from now on. Whenever a task is completed, there are no new notifications, a new member is added to a project or a checklist item is completed, it gets celebrated with rockets, glitter or confetti. Under 'Settings' and 'Appearance' these animations can be disabled.
With this release, the view of the members tab under the project settings changes. All project members are divided into teams > 1 and individual contributors. This view makes it visible at a glance which roles have been assigned to the members and in which plans they are located. Starting with 10 contributors, it will be possible to search for members using the search field and filter by role.
From now on, it can be retrieved under the project settings whether a project is private or has been assigned to a team. Additionally, more detailed descriptions are now available for these two categories. With this update, the project export files will show when the visibility of the project was changed and by whom.
From now on it is possible to view additional project information: the team the project belongs to, the person who created the project and the exact date when this has happened.
Aprender másUntil now users could mention @here, @all or @name of a team member. From now on, users can also tag groups in comments and in checklists. This will make communication within the tool even more targeted.
With this release, we've improved the navigation for our users. Whenever there's a project search drop down list, Recent Projects are visible to execute actions easier and quicker.
This release changes the reports menu which now opens when the user clicks on the report name. For custom reports more personalization is possible by changing the icon.
From now on users will have the possibility to set the same choice of icons & colour combinations for their projects as already introduced in other sections of MeisterTask.
For Pro users upwards, the last 3 projects that were actively worked on are also visible in the sidebar, making them more quickly available. The sync between the devices is also given, i.e. if a project is accessed on mobile, it is also visible on desktop.
From now on it will be even easier to access reports as Quick Reports and Custom Reports are now available in the sidebar. It will be possible for users to rearrange reports under these categories using drag and drop.
You can find the new menu under the project name in the project header. From now on it is more intuitive and easier to access project settings. The menu has a new look and was rearranged to make the navigation easier.
With this release, we have become a bit more intuitive again. From now on it is possible to adjust the colours and icons directly under the section icon, and we have added also more colors to select from! The section menu has also got an upgrade with the settings been moved to the front, the design updated and those settings that users use most often are sorted at the top of the list.
From now on, it is more intuitive and easier for you to search for projects and switch from one project to another. The project search is possible in the sidebar under the active projects.
Deleting projects will be more intuitive on the one hand and more secure on the other. We have made it possible again to delete active projects, and the process has an additional step that requires a confirmation from the user to make sure that the deletion is not done by accident.
The sidebar has been given a major facelift. The handling is also much easier: from now on, you no longer have to leave the active project if you want to switch to other projects. In addition, you have more space to work in the Agenda and Reports.
This update makes it possible to use more colours when formatting tags that get attached to a task.
From now on, tasks that have been assigned or observed as a guest are even easier to find. In the dashboard, the tasks are clearly displayed as guest tasks and in the agenda area you can filter for them.
Intuitive handling is important to us, which is why it is now much simpler and easier to delete tasks. Afterwards, this selection should also be confirmed to make sure that the deletion process is desired.
This update makes it possible to use more colours when designing the Agenda Board.

Guest is a new dimension of project roles and permissions, available to MeisterTask Business and Enterprise users. This update enables you to manage project access granularly, meaning your collaborators will be able to communicate with one another on a task, but not be able to view project information they are not specifically requested to be working on.

At MeisterTask, our goal is to help you stay on top of your work: Our new feature - mentions in checklists - will help you rein in those out-of-control to-dos.
Our latest iOS update introduces extended mentions in checklists: use @ to mention all task watchers or specific collaborators in your checklist item and tap the photo icon to link to attachments. Please do not be upset if you do not see this feature immediately - it will gradually become available soon for more and more users.
