Being fully cloud-based, Microsoft Office 365 is a fantastic match for MindMeister’s web app, and it was high time we started utilizing this great product suite a little more. Today we’re sharing three Microsoft-related updates with you—the first of many to come.

365 Login
In addition to Google, Facebook and co you can now sign up and login to MindMeister with your Office 365 Business or Education account!
If you’re already a MindMeister user and would like to login with your 365 account from now on, you can head over to the Apps page in your account and connect with Office 365 there.
Please note: Office 365 Home subscribers are currently not able to use this login method.
DOCX and PPTX Improvements
Our Word and PowerPoint exports have gotten a complete overhaul, featuring a fantastic new design optimized for print and MindMeister’s pretty signature bubbles. Of course, if you don’t want the MindMeister brand elements to show up in your export, you can always disable the header in the export options!
Mind Map Export to PowerPoint
Mind Map Export to Word
Microsoft Edge Support
Microsoft Edge is Microsoft’s new standard web browser, replacing the good ol’ Internet Explorer (#SorryNotSorry). We’ve added full Edge support for MindMeister to ensure your mind mapping sessions continue to be frictionless and fun while working on your PC. Please keep in mind that the browser itself is still in development, which means that some web standards might not be working yet.
Get started with mind mapping.

beautiful, but it does not work
Hi Thiago,
What exactly doesn\’t work? We\’ll take a look at it right away!
login with Office 365
Hi again, our team think they may know what\’s wrong and are looking into it now. Would you be available for a follow-up in case they have any questions about the issue? We\’ll keep you posted here in any case!
Same problems with connecting the services here…
login with Office 365 fails
You probably need to explain the difference between Office 365 and Office 365 😉 … There is the Office 365 Word/Excel/PowerPoint … Suite, and there is the Office 365 for Business communication/collaboration cloud tool (Exchange/Sharepoint …) – both available with different accounts (probably only god knows why MS does this naming mix). I\’m using Office 365 for Business and could login with the account at Mindmeister.
Would be great, but login with personal Office 365 Microsoft Account fails and does not work at all! Did you guys test this before announcing this (very important!) feature?
Hi Wolfgang,
We apologize for the confusion. To clarify: currently only Business and Education Accounts can use our Office 365 login. So called Microsoft Accounts (previously called Microsoft Live Accounts) can\’t access the Office 365 login, thus Office 365 Home subscriptions can\’t use it either.
A login for private Microsoft Accounts would have to be implemented separately, however, it seems that Microsoft is already working on a platform with single login for all of its account types. As soon as this is available for us, we will look into offering it for MindMeister!
I have the edu personal plan and cannot seem to access this feature. Would I need to have a pro account?
Hi Heather,
You should be able to connect with Office 365 with any type of account. Just go to your apps page and connect the services: https://www.mindmeister.com/account/apps/
If you\’re referring to the Word and PowerPoint exports, then yes, these are available for users at the Pro and Business/Campus level only.
Cheers
We need a better price point.
