Your most brilliant ideas are useless unless they are implemented. Using the integration between MindMeister and MeisterTask, you ensure that important ideas generated in your brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings are turned into actionable tasks right away!
Every successful project starts with an idea. Whether you’re brainstorming alone or with your team, MindMeister offers a great format to capture your thoughts, develop a strategy, and plan out all the steps you need to take to reach your goals.
MeisterTask, on the other hand, is your go-to tool for getting things done. Just set up a project board that fits your needs (Sales funnel? Editorial calendar? Software sprint? Everything is possible!) and get productive with your team.
MindMeister and MeisterTask are great on their own, but when you combine the creative environment of online mind mapping with collaborative, agile task management, you end up with a truly powerful workflow.
Using the integration between MindMeister and MeisterTask, you can connect mind maps with project boards, and export all your valuable ideas directly into MeisterTask, via simple drag & drop motion.
Check out the video below to see the integration in action:
Always in Sync
Tasks that you’ve exported in this way stay synchronized between MindMeister and MeisterTask. That means that once you’ve connected a mind map with a project, all tasks that originated in the mind map are also updated there when edited in MeisterTask.
Here’s a list of properties that are currently being synchronized:
MindMeister | MeisterTask |
---|---|
Node title | Task title |
Node note | Task description |
Node task assignee | Task assignee |
Node task due date | Task due date |
Node task completion (0% or 100%) | Task status (open or completed) |
Task info is removed | Task is trashed |
Additionally, links added to a topic in a mind map are added as the last line in the task description in MeisterTask, but — at the moment — they are not updated in MindMeister’s link widget when changed in MeisterTask.
