Update your MeisterTask Android app lately? If you haven’t, do so immediately and check out its swanky new look.
What’s New in MeisterTask for Android?
Firstly, your dashboard. We’ve removed its border and made sure that its beautiful background image takes up more of your screen. We played around with the layout and went for a more clean, minimalistic look. Don’t panic, you still have everything you need right at your fingertips but in a more visually appealing way. The welcome widget presents itself boldly at the top of your screen. And your dashboard menu (containing Notifications, Projects, Trending and My Tasks) has now been moved into the bottom bar, mirroring the updates previously made to our iOS app.

The three dots that previously opened up your account settings menu has been replaced by your avatar icon. If you have an image of yourself uploaded on your MeisterTask account profile, you’ll see it here. If not, it’s time to get cracking with an updated selfie!
The menu itself has been combined and streamlined, giving it a cleaner look without losing all the necessary information access points. Do you remember when Appearance and Account were separate? It’s now one tap to rule them all — click on your avatar to access your Plan, Notifications, Appearance, Statistics and Help & Info.

We’ve also tweaked the appearance section — this is where you can customize the appearance of your task tiles and dashboard background. It’s also got a nifty preview now so that you can see your proposed changes immediately.
So all that’s left is for you to head over to the Google Play Store and get updating!
